SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA might be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the high amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is website to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack sassa status check of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area every day. The company here stage developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to enable the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
